Μιχαηλίδης, Νίκος Ν. Dr. Nicos N. Michaelides, Professor of English and Linguistics, a British-trained scholar and linguist (Cambridge, Westminster, Edinburgh, Lancaster), is a member of the London institute of Linguistics (U.K.), a Fellow of the College of Preceptors (U.K.) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (U.K.). He has a long and standing experience in teaching, at both the Secondary and Tertiary level, and has published a number of books on English language teaching and a number of articles in his discipline in scholarly journals, both local and foreign. His main interests are: language acquisition, language teaching and learning, teacher training and the role of language in its social context.
